Pixel People
Just some fun side project
The
Project
Pixel People is part of my Not Much of an Example series—a collection of fun and exploratory side gigs I work on outside of my job.
This particular piece is inspired by and named after Pixel People, a mobile game published by LambdaMu Games. The game was released by Chillingo (a division of Electronic Arts), garnered over a million downloads in its first week.
I made 4 characters (three kiddo and a friendly dog). Unexpectedly, the CEO of the game studio and its designer came across my work and reached out, and even recognized this project—a moment I never saw coming.
